Worksheet for the Athanasian Creed

As part of our class on the Ecumenical Creeds we are providing worksheets that contain the Creeds, Scripture references, and hymns.  This worksheet is the second of two and deals with the Athanasian Creed.  As with our worksheet on the Apostles’ and Nicene Creeds, we have included Scripture references from which the parts of the creed were drawn.  Finally, similar to our Hymns for the Book of Concord page, we have recommended hymns for each section of the creed which confess the doctrines found in that section.

We hope this will be a useful resource for all who believe, teach, and confess the Ecumenical Creeds.  Our class on the Ecumenical Creeds started on July 5th, 2017 at 7pm and will run every Wednesday for the rest of the summer.
