Where does Holy Scripture come from? Why are some books in and others out? Who decided what was included and why? Why do we consider Scripture inspired, infallible and inerrant? Why do our Confessions consider Holy Scripture to be “the rule and norm” of all doctrine and faith? Find out the answers to all these questions and more at our Lutheran Essentials study on the origins of Holy Scripture on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. We will be using F. F. Bruce’s book “The Canon of Scripture” and the new study topic will begin on May 21st. The book for the study will be provided free of charge, also we will continue to provide the Book of Concord free to all who wish to have a copy.
