Regardless of where you fall on the old axiom, “there’s no such thing as too much of a good thing,” FLC has a special “Thanksgiving – The Sequel” dinner planned for Saturday, November 26th. College students, young professionals and Boston Light of the World members and those of you who just can’t get enough of what almost became our national bird (with all the trimmings) are invited to join us!
We’ll dine pre-Bach Vespers—gathering at 2:30pm with dinner scheduled for 3pm. Following dinner, we’ll head upstairs to the sanctuary for “Choral Vespers for the First Sunday in Advent.” The 5:00 pm vespers will be preceded at 4:30pm by a prelude played by Balint Karosi, who joins us all the way from the “Grossen Apfel.”
The only minor catch is that we need folks to sign-up to bring their Thanksgiving specialties so we can prepare an ample cornucopia of food and drink.
