I can’t even begin to tell you how many lives were touched and how many people remembered how “safe” First Lutheran Church was for them both after the bombings and this past weekend.
One woman in particular, Sarah who hands runners their medals at the finish line. Still recovering from last year and having visited with the dogs on many occasions she needed love, mercy and compassion to get her to this year’s finish line on Marathon Monday. She found Pastor Ingo, Pastor Dave, Dona, Sharon, Barb and myself along with 4 furry counselors waiting there to feed her physically and spiritually. She will never forget praying with us that morning.
All the people we prayed with in the hospitals last year many of them returning or messaging us their thanks.
Remarkable, no surprise, He is truly an amazing God!
