Please join us this winter/spring season on Sundays at 9:30 as we study the Pastoral epistles together during the Sunday school hour. These three letters, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus, were written by St. Paul to the men he left in charge of the churches in Ephesus and Crete. His advice to these shepherds of God’s flock remains relevant to Pastors and congregations today.
As First Lutheran prepares for Pastor Dutzmann’s retirement this May and the calling of a new Pastor to guide us into the future, we will study Paul’s instructions regarding the qualifications for ministers, propriety in worship, dealing with heresies, and conflict resolution.
