1584592866_64f2917316_bJoy to you in the Wonderful Name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

We exist to bring the message and example of Jesus Christ to Greater Boston and beyond.” Yes, this, our Mission Statement is ambitious, and yes, we admit we will never accomplish it perfectly. But thanks be to God for nevertheless entrusting us with the Keys of His Kingdom through His Holy Word in the Bible, and His precious Sacraments of Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

As Lutheran Christians we believe, teach and confess Christ Crucified, Risen, and Coming Again on the Last Day.  We also heed His admonition to love our neighbors as ourselves.  All this we do in an atmosphere of liturgical  reverence, a high regard for His gift of music, and even a healthy sense of humor which acknowledges that we are saved by Grace not works!

Please consider your new or expanded participation in our exciting ministries located ‘deep’ downtown in the beautiful and accessible Back Bay area of America’s most walkable city!  The volunteers and staff of First Lutheran stand ready to help you “let your light so shine before others that people will see your good works and give glory to your Father in Heaven”(Matthew 5:16)!

Thanks for reading this; and may God richly bless your day!

Yours for Christ and His Kingdom,
Ingo R. Dutzmann Senior Pastor
