Although we are currently unable to gather in person due to the COVID-19 pandemic, FLC plans to gather around God’s Word in many ways through the following online offerings:
Sunday Services and Bible Study
The sermon text will be posted every Sunday morning at 9am, with a link to a video of the service on the FLC youtube channel. The service bulletin will be available with the sermon and service recording as a pdf. Previous sermons are archived here. Additional musical resources, including Lenten hymns recorded by Kantor Jonathan Wessler, are available on the FLC soundcloud site.
Pastor Hopkins will continue his study on prayer on Facebook live at 10am every Sunday. The prayer study uses materials by Dr. John Kleinig, available here: On Prayer – Kleinig (used by permission).
Wednesday Services and Lutheran Essentials Study
The Wednesday sermon text will be posted every Wednesday evening at 5pm, with a link to a video of the service on the FLC youtube channel. The service bulletin will be available with the sermon and service recording as a pdf. Previous sermons are archived here.
Paul Edmon will continue his Wednesday evening Lutheran Essentials study via his youtube page. Join him for the livestream version of the class at 7pm.
Weekday Catechesis and Devotions
Pastor Hopkins will be hosting short Catechesis lessons every weekday at 12pm live on Facebook, beginning Monday 3/23. Lessons will remain on the FLC Facebook page after the live session has ended.
Pastor Hopkins will also host a weekday Devotional on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 5pm live on Facebook, beginning Monday 3/23. On Wednesdays we will have Vespers services at 5pm (see above).
Lectionary readings for the upcoming Sunday service will continue to be published every Monday morning in a devotional format. Previous devotionals are archived here.
