Our spring season for 2018 will run March 5 – May 10. Together, we’ll run the ATASK Community 5K Race at Chestnut Hill Reservoir on May 13!
A little more about the program . . .
We use CoolRunning.com’s Couch to 5K program to introduce you to jogging and getting fit. Throughout the 10 weeks, you’ll set your own pace, whether you’re walking or jogging.
- FREE 10-week program to get you from the couch to running a 5K (3.1 miles)
- Anyone from the community can participate
- Mondays through Thursdays from 6 – 7 pm
- 1 hour time commitment, 3 times per week
- Goal of jogging and finishing a 5K at the end of 10 weeks
Encourage those you love to get off the couch and join you in the great sport of running. Come have some fun! Bring a water bottle and join the group.
If you show up, we’ll support, coach, and encourage you all the way to the finish line!
Please find street parking or call the church office (617-536-8851) to find out if there’s parking available in our parking lot. We start and end in the courtyard of First Lutheran Church at 299 Berkeley Street, Boston, MA 02116. We walk and jog on the Esplanade.
There are bathrooms available in the church if you need to change because you’re coming straight from work.
