Dear Pastor Dutzmann and friends at FLC,
At this time of sorrow, our hearts go out to you and all victims, their family and friends.
Although we are unable to join you physically on Friday, we will be praying for you in Sydney. We love Boston.
May the Lord, our strength and Redeemer comfort you.
Peace in Christ,
Sylvie & Colin
Jack and I would like to second Sylvie and Colin’s sentiments. We’ve definitely had the city of Boston and FLC in our thoughts and prayers over the past days. Blessings as you reach out to a grieving city with Christ’s mercy.
Stay strong,
Bethany and Jack
The choir of First Lutheran Church in Venice, California, took up a collection at our rehearsal on Thursday night. We want to support the work of your congregation in this time of need. Use the funds for the comfort dogs and/or any way your congregation sees fit. I am sure that churches throughout the world – including our corner of God’s kingdom in Venice, California, will be lifting you up in corporate prayer during worship services on Sunday. May God bless you with the height and breadth of His love! Laura Rusch for the Choir
Laura and choir, thank you from First Lutheran Church and the comfort dog team for your participation in God’s work. We have the privilege of being connected across so many miles as the body of Christ and deeply appreciate your help.
