march for life
Peace all,
The below is appropriate to share as it speaks to the astonishing national acquiescence regarding this blight on our nation’s character. I thank God that our church body was on the DC Mall in force, and  that it will continue to do so every January until this modern holocaust is ended. We freed the inmates at Auschwitz 70 years ago and rightly stand with our Jewish friends with the declaration “Never again.” Quoting Habakkuk the prophet we humbly implore our great God concerning the abortion nightmare and ask “Why, O God, and how long” will this outrage be allowed to blemish our great land:  and may the day come in our lifetimes when we can say “never again” to this holocaust as well!
Yours in Christ, as we affirm the right of all children to “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness!” Pastor Dutzmann

Dear Friend of the Family,

As you probably know, every year hundreds of thousands of pro-life supporters gather in our nation’s capital for the annual March for Life.  Despite the massive turnout for this event, it is routinely ignored by the media.  I am happy to report, however, that this year MFI’s Director of Communications, Lena Wakim, was able to participate in the march and report on it.  As a young woman of faith, committed to the pro-family cause, her example should give all of us hope that we will eventually  turn the tide on abortion in our country.  Please take a moment to read her story below.
