BOSTON UPDATE: The LCMS is fully prepared to do one of the things she does best: show mercy to those who are suffering. LCMS Disaster Response has been in touch with New England Distract President Timothy Yeadon, district staff and LCMS congregations in the Boston area.
First Lutheran Church in Boston was open throughout the night, offering a warm place to sleep, water, coffee and pastoral care, especially to those who could not return to their homes or hotels due to the city’s lockdown status. Please keep those who are suffering in your prayers, even as the LCMS continues to stand ready to offer personal assistance and respond as needs are assessed and opportunities to serve are identified
