On Sunday, August 24, Lydia Comfort Dog was welcomed into her new home at Messiah Lutheran Church in Lynnfield, Massachusetts.

LCC K-9 Director Rich Martin officially passed the leash to Top Dog Joyce Sauca, Pastor Jeremy Pekari and the K-9 Ministry Team from Messiah. Also on hand to welcome Lydia to New England were members from the K-9 team in Newtown, Connecticut and Maggie Comfort Dog (Christ the King, Newtown, CT). Lydia will be used in outreach in North Boston and the greater Boston area.
