However, with the Truth being as relentless as He is, He has His way in the Church. It is, after all, His Church. Victims of untold harm receive healing in God’s good time. The perpetrators’ lies bring them to the inevitable dead end, making the “back–track” of repentance the only way out. Those suffering from doubt, observing the grand “bottoming–out” from a distance are given that discrete friend, finally receive their respite from misery and emerge, by no doing of their own, as veteran witnesses of the Truth in a world that doesn’t have a clue of what it looks like when truth and falsehood collide.
