Who: The New England District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod and Feeding Children Everywhere are partnering together for the NED Hunger Project.
New England District Congregations will be packaging a total of 250,000 healthy lentil casseroles at four locations this fall, and each location is packaging a portion of the goal.
What: At this location, volunteers will be hand-packaging 62,500 healthy lentil casseroles that will be distributed in the Caribbean Basin through Food for the Poor. There will be great music, good fun and the chance to make a tangible difference in the life of a hungry child.
Why: Throughout scripture, Jesus shows by example the importance of putting faith into action. NED congregations are coming together to show the love of Christ by meeting the needs of hungry families in the Caribbean Basin.
