We will be visiting for the marathon. Are we invited for a Easter Service? Can you wear jeans or do we need nicer clothing?
Which would be the best service to attend?
We go to Lutheran churches in IN.
Bob
Hi Bob,
Of course everyone is invited to Easter service! Both the 8am and 11am service are essentially the same, so you can choose which is convenient for you.
Most people will be dressed up for Easter, but all are welcome. Since we are in Boston, we are used to welcoming tourists, who often don’t have room in their luggage to pack their Sunday best, and often come in jeans.
Also, you are welcome to come to our Easter brunch between the services (starting 9:30 ish, in the undercroft). It’s a great chance to meet some new people, and there is always plenty of food to share.
Safe travels, and see you Sunday!
We are coming from Wisconsin for the Marathon and will be coming to the 11:00am service. We had the same travel questions. Thanks for answering. See you on Sunday.
