Randell Dauda is a wonderful Christian young woman from Liberia who has lived in the US for a number of years.  She is a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Providence, RI and finished her Master’s Degree in Psychology from Northeastern University.  While she studied at Northeastern she participated in FLC’s Campus Connection ministry.  Randell has now returned to Liberia to open her own ministry call KporMa, which means “Help Me.”  The charity helps underprivileged children by providing educational materials, clothing and other resources that offer a helping hand for the poor.
Gbarnga Lutheran School Mission Project is an initiative of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Providence that is now being supported by congregations, schools and organizations in both the New England District and around the country.  The mission is a partnership with the Lutheran Church in Liberia to provide a Lutheran School, residence hall and significant programs that will provide for basic needs as well as Christian education.

Pastor Dutzmann has been recruited to join the school-building team, includimg New England District President Rev. Timothy Yeadon, and will be in Liberia to meet with local leaders and visit the site in January. While the project is not a formal ministry of FLC, pastor will assist St Paul’s in identifying potential ministry partners around the country. He will also visit Randell’s ministry (see pictures posted) and bring items she requested for her school children; chalk, notebooks, pens, pencils and children’s books. If you’d like to donate any such items, please let pastor know.
Stay tuned for further updates!
