First Lutheran Church wishes to thank the K9 Comfort Dogs and Lutheran Church Charities for their service to Boston during this extraordinary and difficult week. The Dogs have dispersed to help others in need. While Boston looks toward a more normal week, these dogs and their handlers are headed to places where comfort is also needed. Some are headed back to Newtown Connecticut to help at Sandy Hook Elememtary School. One dog is headed to a Pastor’s conference in Vermont to provide comfort for the many pastors who were providing sprirtual care this week. Several other dogs are headed to Waco, Texas to be a community also shaken by tragedy.
