Christmas Pageant notes for Sunday school families:
Rehearsals for the Christmas pageant are held during Sunday school in December. Let your child’s Sunday school teacher know whether or not he or she will participate in the Christmas Eve pageant. All children are involved in the rehearsals, including those who are not able to attend the Christmas Eve service.
Costumes will be distributed on Sunday, December 14. Costumes are returned immediately following the Christmas Eve service.
Dress rehearsal (in costume) will be on Sunday, December 21, during Sunday school.
Arrival time for the service on Christmas Eve is 3:20 p.m. Allow extra travel time – Boston traffic is always heavy in the afternoon on Christmas Eve. Meet in Sunday school classrooms. Parents will help their children get into costume and then take their seats in the sanctuary.
Christmas Eve Reception follows the service. Each family is asked to drop off a plate of favorite Christmas cookies or treats in the kitchen before the service. Our brief annual Christmas Eve reception usually concludes shortly after 5:00 p.m.
