The first-ever Boston Bach International Organ Competition (www.bbioc.org) will be held here from September 1st (Labor Day weekend) through September 9th. And, no surprise, FLC’s Richards, Fowkes & Co. opus 10 is front and center for the competition. It shows off its fabulous pipes in a master class on the morning of Saturday, September 1st, and for lots of events after that, such as our annual Labor Day concert featuring Leipzig University organist Martin Schmeding on Monday, September 3rd.
