First Lutheran Church is blessed with a “Benevolence Fund” to assist those who may have an extraordinary need in order to get by. Over the years we have helped with food and medications, rent and car repairs, funerals and bereavement trips, and recently assisted with a major surgery. Decisions for major outlays are made by the Council President and Treasurer in consultation with the Senior Pastor. The fund is currently in need of contributions to be able to continue these acts of mercy. Won’t you please pray about joining me in making a contribution to the “FLC Benevolence Fund” over and above your regular tithe?
