Benefit Lunch for Gisele Pinheiro at First Lutheran on Sunday, March 30
Gisele is a beloved member of FLC and the Brazilian ministry that is in need of a liver transplant. She is also battling cancer on her liver as well as other medical issues. Her husband, Almir, has lost a lot of work due to the continual hospital visits he has made with Gisele.
Therefore, First Lutheran will host a benefit lunch for this family after the 11am worship service on Sunday, March 30.
Menu includes: Rice, beans, meat, vegetables – the famous Brazilian dish, Feijoada!
Cost: $10.00 feeds two
meals to go also available after the 8 a.m. service and 11 a.m.
Gisele does have quite a talent for making jewelry and Almir makes delicious homemade cheese. Both will be selling their products to help off set the financial burden they are enduring because of the medical problems. Of course, if you would like to make a financial donation, please write your check to: First Lutheran Church with a memo to “Gisele Benefit”. Checks can also be made out to Gisele Pinheiro.
Volunteers also needed to deliver meals within 10 mile radius, please contact Pastor Paul if interested.
