Ways to Worship and Ways to Serve

Peace and Joy in the Precious NAME of our Advent Lord and King, Jesus!
Welcome to a brand new start of the Church Year as we anticipate again, the coming of the Christ Child, born of the Virgin Mary! Think of it; Without Christ there would be no Christmas! Could any fake-news possibly have become such a precious season of anticipation and joy? I think not!  Advent is truly a time of year that transcends all attempts to turn it into a secular shopping spree or a phony excuse for a ‘Holy-Day’ in the midst of the darkest time of the year. Without Jesus at the heart and core of this Season, no Santa Claus figure would ever have arisen, the great seasonal hymns would not have been written, and the evergreen would never have become a faithful reminder of God’s enduring love for all HIS children. Indeed, without Christ there is no Christmas! Hence we celebrate Advent looking forward to the gift of this very special child, who was born to die for our sins, to assure us of forgiveness, and to prepare for us our Heavenly Home.
Blessings and Welcome in HIS Holy NAME,
Pastor Dutzmann
