This year, on February 18, First Lutheran Church of Boston is celebrating its 175th anniversary. To mark this event, two special celebration Sundays are planned. The first is this coming Sunday, February 16th, when we will have special music at both the 8am and 11am services. After each service, everyone is welcome to attend a special coffee hour and slide presentation on the history of our church.
In addition to the celebration this Sunday, a larger event is planned for Palm Sunday, when LCMS President Rev. Dr. Matthew Harrison will visit our church. We also will be collecting stories from members and former members about what their time at First Lutheran Church has meant to them as part of our “175 Voices” project.
